Weight and height are general growth averages — every child is different. When in doubt, go by weight over age.

Giving a gift or in between sizes? Size up. They'll grow into it within a season.

Tall or solid for their age? Weight is the better guide. A long-torsoed 18-month-old is often happier in 2T.

Layering. Tanks and tees are cut to sit under the hoodie and long sleeve without bulk — no need to size up.

Care. Cold wash, tumble low. The rib relaxes with wear and returns to shape in the wash.
